Brands Hatch – circuit rally championship

This Saturday, from 9am at Brands Hatch. £19 on the gate, check out the entry list, (Ex WRC, histories, R5’s) great cars, think I will be there

Brands Hatch winter stages, I haven’t been to one of these events for years!

Their is alot going on at once it is a great watch!

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Well, it was a bit foggy to start with and chilly, but the ‘fast lane’ were knocking out tea and bacon baps at a sufficient rate to keep the warmth up. The event was spectacular with R5 Fiestas seemingly going at near WRC pace. Mk 1 and 2 Escort a plenty inc STW 130R! Great organisation by The Chelmsford Motor Club. The action was thick and fast and it was an open service park format so great to see the mechanics up close fixing cars and keeping them in the event. Snetterton 19th Feb, I think I will go to that one too.
