Hello Billy 3,

Your are running Ultima 2. Did you notice any difference between Ultima and Ultima 2. Is Ultima 2 more urgent or does the standard ultima pull more in the mid range as described on the dreamscience internet site?

    Best regards

I asked DS about Launch control and this will maybe be added. DS absolutely recommend to use Ultima 2+ even for stock car the best choice. thats what I got as answer by mail.

We’ll this is the first ecu upgrade I’ve had since my 1.9 205 GTI had its Superchip soldered in back in ‘92.

Havent things come on a bit! It is so rediculoisly easy to transform your car.

17 build – at 10k pressure tested ok and had new head gasket- 11k order DS iMap – today install DS Ultima (15 mins and no effort)

Car now feels like it’s had new throttle bodies, flowed head, an additinal turbo charger, exhaust, internals….. EVERYTHING!

It almost feels wrong that you can get the gains you get with just a flash of the ECU, I am properly impressed.

Everyone has been saying it… the mid range pins you in your seat….. and you read it thinking “they’re probably hamming it up a bit” … “I’m middle aged, the nippers are getting over excited”.. But NO you’re not getting over excited this map is outstanding.

So thank you Ford for the RS, a massive thank you to you lot for convincing me to try it and…… DS…. I’m not sure what you’ve done but it blooming works.

Impressive isn’t it, I received mine yesterday too. I tried the ultima map which is very worth while but ultima 2 felt much better so I’ve stuck with that.

I Put mine back to standard for the recall and boy is it boring, so flat through all the Rev range, can’t wait to get the engine sorted and get the ultima put back on, it well worth the money and if you don’t like it at least you can sell it on without being locked to your car!
