Dream Science Ultima Remap.

Hammy : I just had mail contact with Jared from DS to ask about if there will be a LC update and so on. He told me I can use DS Ultima 2+ with no worries for STOCK car. But it would perform better with all the mods. Just as information to all reading here and still running stock car. go for it.

Updated it too and it is just the best map so far. Except the tune I also have some mods like exhaust system, front intercooler plate removed, air filter modifications.

Forgot to turn off the drift mode after a drive in the snow and was going to a street change to the left and was just rolling and pulled then 2nd gear with around 1500 rpm… and went sideways more or less like a powerslide. makes a lot of fun because now I do not have to lock the wheel in one direction and then floor it to get it sideways. with that map it is easy to powerslide the car even with low rpm because… the map is just insane? 😀

What D/S map do you run on yours?

What would you recommend for a stock car perhaps air filter/cat back exhaust.

I am running ultima 2+ just now have a tiny flat spot just above 2000rpm until 2500rpm but I think that’s down to me having a std recirculating valve i.e basically passing.

 

I don’t like recommending anything to anybody because lets face it there to many people like a moan me included in that.

but can tell you a cat back will give you no power gains only noise gains and look gain that’s it.

the std exhaust on the car is very simple 2 parts.

cat/downpipe has a 2 bolt flange at turbo end and v band after the cat and the cat is 400cell or 300cell.

cat back has a v band after the cat straight pipe no centre resonator only one part rolled i.e squashed then the back box. this can be taken out in one piece have did it my self.

but if you watch a million you tube videos they say cut it after axle. the problem with that is you can never put the std one back because you have cut it. I think its more the truth people rushing out to buy that shit mountune v1 cat back what ever it was when the car was realised. not one including mountune did any proper understanding to get it out it was more like get it out there make money until now basically there on about version ten.

 

my advise to anybody is do your home work actually think what you want to do to there car and where you want it to be, because there is a million different factors out there i.e  warranties, insurance, cost, what you use it for, etc etc

What are the issues with the ghost ?? I’ve just had a red edition and waiting to have one fitted

No issue with Ghost, when fitted correctly.    Map I would go Mountune 375 until warranty ends then do their 400 map or Revo stage 2 with sports cat and standard exhaust. Just my view.

The ghost is a no brainer, as even if idiot trying to steal your hard earned car has some how got your keys either cloned or broken into house and has keys , they are going no where without your Unique code you choose.

I would now ever say you need Chris Preston to fit it.

1. Does anybody here run the Dreamscience 2+ map with a bigger intercooler and a sportcat/downpipe? And is the tiny flat spot just above 2000rpm until 2500 gone with this package?
