ours is standard on engine apart from the map. feels strong in the mid range, throttle response once past (i guess) 50% is pretty savage. good map in my view, we’re all different but can’t see there’s much benefit to doing anything apart from the map. feels like what you’d want for 90% of the time i’d say. definitely strong.

I am really not fussed to be honest I am buying one when I get my motor and when I have to take it back to ford just re flash it back to std.

From what I understand the parts are warrantied for up to 3 years to run alongside the standard warranty, but you’d have to pay the labour charges to have things replaced.

That said, I think Evans Halshaw would struggle to charge for labour to change a defective item they both supplied and fitted, certainly within the first year! Sure there will be something in consumer law that would see to that.

On the mapping side, there is no warranty. You’d just return to stock if you had any issues.

Thanks Kenny. My insurance company say no increase in premium if power not increased by more than 10%. But if I fit a different air filter it increases by £96.00. Crazy!
