I’ve had an imap for a while now and tried it out this weekend.

Using the Ultima2+ map has really woken the car up, but noticed the pops and bangs have all but disappeared. Also the auto start stop is working.

Any DS users found the same?

Mine pops and bangs in sports mode, but I wouldn’t say it does it anymore than the FPM375 map.

Daz – you using U2+?

That should read “auto stop start isn’t working”

I noticed that initially but they have now returned. Maybe a ecu relearn curve?

Griff, probably your battery is not 100% charged, can take 30 miles to charge before the stop start functions if car has  not been used lately

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Good shouts guys, I had forgot about the battery condition effecting the stop/start. Like most people I haven’t used mine much over the last couple of months.

@elliot – yeah forgot about that. I haven’t driven the car much since I installed the map, I’ll keep an eye or ear on it. Pops and bangs are very important.

Has anybody had an issue with the EML showing after returning from DS Ultima 3 or 2+ Imap back to FPM375 or stock?

I’m considering running DS Ultima 3 Imap with a MT Sports Cat and probably an upgraded MT IC however, Mountune have said in the past that fitting a Sports Cat with FPM375 may emit the EML and recommend going to at least an M380 map to prevent this. Obviously I don’t want the EML showing each time I switch from DS Ultima 3 back to FPM375 before a service/updates!

Currently running Mountune : FPM375+SSC; Full charge pipe kit; V3 cat-back; PTU upgrade.

I am running sports cat and U3. Mines does not throw a light when i put the FPM375 map on.

Should be fine with sports cat mate …I return my back to stock when servicing and light doesnt come on
