Drive modes

Any one having trouble selecting drive modes, mine seem to be unavailable after a short run , when I’ve stopped and turned engine off , and restart the alarm sounds with message of (drive modes unavailable). Get back to me guys if you’re having same trouble and if you know the cause and fix .

First thing I would check is, is the exhaust valve sticking.

@Paul,…… did you try WD40 ? It’s the first thing to try before you go down any other route 👍 the exhaust valve sometimes sticks.

mine does it & ive just this minute fitted a scorpion cat back valved,ive sussed it out though as iv got ghost fitted,it I put the code in too quick it comes up with drive mode not available,if I leave ignition on 5-6 seconds then put code it its ok.

Another way this happens is if the drive mode button is stuck down. I managed to press the corner of the button once and it did not pop up – was only noted when I got in the car the next time and the ‘drive modes unavailable’ message was displayed on start up.
