A speed camera is only accurate on the day it is calibrated much like your mot, an argument could be made that any speed camera not calibrated shouldn’t be trusted. That’s why automatic number plate recognition cameras are used for average speed over distance now because it’s more accurate, licence to print money, but it’s ok to drive like an old fart doing 25 mph who’s registered blind and had two hearing aids! Just going somewhere quiet to mutter….
