On track on Tuesday.
mountune day.
3x RS mk3

anyone here?
lots of cars were not Fords!

I went out after lunch in my white car.
cost me £80 in fuel.

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Yes in just over an hour and a half on track.
I only went at lunchtime to view the amazing cars there.
there weren’t any !
lots of other makes though.

I was there but not on track – Magnetic Grey in the pits area.

I’ve been to a few of these and this was by far the worst attended.  If they hadn’t opened it up to other makes, it would not have been viable to run?

A track day at Brands is not cheap!  This one was knocking £250 was it not?

my afternoon cost £105 so not too bad.
except it ended a bit  early when I ran out of fuel

I would love to say that was me but whilst not fat, I’ve only ever been accused of being ‘slim’ in my twenties!  Sadly, I’m many decades on from that now.

The day was saved by the occasional fly over by a Spitfire out of Biggin Hill and the ‘Brand’s cheeseburger and cup of tea’

It’s not a good look if you arrange a track day then don’t take your own fleet on track apart from a photo session.
yes Mountune that’s you !
I would have loved a passenger lap in one of the tuned cars.
maybe the cars are  too delicate ?
just there to pose?
