This is a bargain build for the spec it’s awesome.

    @Nate

Big Si…………………… Followed by a big Hmmmmm …………

Just look at the spec and you know that kits but their you go rubbishing a good product…….. again!!!!!!

Like all things Ford; they rate the Coyote V8 at 545hp but they get built to over 1200hp it’s just a Ford number for their protection.

Its a Callies light weight crank I’m sure you’ve used that in a 800+hp builds running this upgrade over factory

Mahle pistons are running in mine and yours, what did Mountune say the torque was on your M520? weren’t you running 700+ Nm …………

Callis Compstar rods aren’t they 800-1000 hp rating

All inside a brand new Ford Performance motorsport block, RS or Mustang ready, or Mk2 escort ready; now that would be fun.

And finished off with looks like a Mountune USA deck brace.

Like I said it’s a performance bargain, a short block bargain

Just re read it and il say it again its not a lot if torque

stock stage 2 tunes push out 420lbft

stock engines on meth run 498lbft

Again so your  not confused i am not rubbishing a product just mearly surprised that its only been tested  to 415lbft

i still think the Mountune short block is  is decent and well worth the $4995  at the time its now $5800

you can keyway a crank for £50 and lighten and balance one for £100

that would be a close call to decide between the two

have to agree the Ford stated figure is low. What’s the factory crank rated at and how much does that take.

The Callies crank is an upgrade option from Mountune on their built motors As too are the Mahle pistons, as to is a deck brace or a welded deck brace.

Yes the figure quoted are low; but you know the pistons are good for at least 800hp with matching torque and the new Callies crank in conjunction with a Single mass flywheel should make itv rev like a Fireblade

When I asked you about doing this “you can keyway a crank for £50 and lighten and balance one for £100” – you said you don’t do it in the group txt and only fit new.

I really don’t know why your being so negative on this bargain 800+bhp short block.

Couple of Companies here sell the short block engines too. I’m sure I seen one, think they’re based in Ireland could be wrong but will build it using your current parts to save money on forged parts if you already have them.

Would delivery of that not end up taking the price up to about the same as one here 🤔

Delivery would be circa $500 about £375 but import and tax would be £1000 ish. Unless you can UK order from a dealer
