    Hi guys,

I’m looking to order a Ford performance suntrip, I have noticed the window wipers reach to the top of the car? How would you go about this as they will encroach the suntrip.

Would I need to get smaller blades?

    Thank you in advance.

Doesn’t make any difference, the wipers will simply go over the sun strip without damaging it.I had one on my mk3 st & was 270mm without any problems.

Have read somewhere it’s a mot fail if wipers touch the sunstrip

I had a phone call today from furrows saying my sun strip needed to be removed as it is classed as a major defect on the MOT, so off it came 😬

@Tomcat,,I am a mot tester,if it’s not obstructing the view of the road it’s not a fail.Tell the tester he needs to read the manual.3.1 field of vision

@Tyrefitter  Which is exactly what the Ford Tech said to me pre-mot last year when I dropped my car off.
