I remember as a kid in late 70s I had a good radio and it would pick up stations from far away, mostly sounding like arabic/turkish/russian sort of muzac, the radio hosts sounded like they were broadcasting from tin huts, you couldnt understand what they were saying but it was interesting wondering where they were in the world that sounded so far from the UK, the signal constantly drifting in and out with all kind of weird buzzing and whistling noises on the side. Happy days.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.
