Hello another newbie – long wait ahead

Hi guys,

Patiently waiting delivery of a new RS.

Gone for nitrous blue with everything except sunroof.

Ordered the car through Hendy – Eastleigh

Expected delivery of April 17!

Wondering if sync 3 will be up and running by then and how much they will be wanting to add it to my order ?

Have plenty to be getting on with in the mean time tinkering with my 28year old RS turbo (escort).

Interested to read how others are getting on and latest updates etc.

We have an RS1600i in the garage, which probably won’t see much action now my RS has arrived 🙂

Hopefully here is a picture of my old escort. Had it for several years now.

We don’t tend to take the Escort very far now. Not doing Classic Ford next month, which is going to be the first year I’ve missed it. But my shifts haven’t gone my way at work for this one and I need lots of time off in June for our local group show and also Goodwood FOS.

We got the Softlines a couple of years ago now. But still kept the standard 16i wheels. She’s pretty original, right down to the coil packs 😉
