Hello from the South East

Hi all, I ordered my Focus RS end of april this year (managed to beat the price rise) I’ve gone for white with the black forged  wheels/blue calipers. Decided against the shell seats lovely as they are, added the nav, lux pack and door edge protectors. Cars been ordered through Think Ford Guildford, only information on build/delivery date is end of the year if I’m lucky/ start of next more likely. Test drove their nitrous blue demo car and was impressed enough to place my order, was concerned about the ride as my fiesta is on the very hard side but I found the focus slightly better which I put down to it being a bigger car with a larger wheel base.

Emailed my order number to the email address on here (thanks for that) had one email back already but they required some more information, so I’ve just sent that.

Currently running round in my fiesta st3 (white as well) till the RS turns up, also own a escort cosworth (white as well!! there’s a pattern forming here!)

Hope to join in the forum as much as possible  whilst the wait continues for the car to turn up.

when I ordered it I was “yeah great I can wait a year no problem” now I really want it!!

Also I want to beat the 2017 tax changes and avoid the £500 increase in ved!

You’re not wrong, it’s only been two months but I’m already losing my marbles. We’ve spoken about the tax-hike on 1/4/2017, it’s a real concern; £500 on top of the £33500 I’m paying isn’t small change. Having said that, there have been a couple of teething problems that’ll hopefully be fixed by the time we get our cars. Swings and roundabouts.

Hi Phil, exactly the same as me, Guildford, last day of April, finally plumped for the white, seeing that one that was up the side there for weeks did help swing me into white instead of BGV blue or whatever its called !!

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Innit?

Good choice you made there, I saw the white one down the side as well looked a bit high up as I assume/hope it still had the delivery blocks in the suspension!

So that’s you and I ordered on the same day from the same dealer, lets see who gets theirs first! and Howsey who ordered the same time as well!  I’ve got a mate who ordered on the same day from trust ford Epsom (magnetic grey)

Who’s going to get theirs first?…………….

ha ha, ‘high’ by todays standards maybe, but low if you are oldschool ! yes, it had the suspension chocks in still ! You never know, we could have an all white RS hand over day at some time in the future! I saw they had a race Red ST and thought  “if only that was available on the RS”  and also saw a Tangerine Scream ST at Epsom.. that would be a great colour on the RS too ! Ive gone for std seats and a roof, lux pack, calipers, sync2 and city stop as seems the norm spec. certainly dont see the point in a heated steering wheel or heated seats in this country !
