An exciting internet forum moderator post has just been created at the Ford Focus RS mk3 site. This post will involve monitoring a wide range of car enthusiasts with differing views of motoring, sexism, humour, pointless anecdotes, etc. Applicants will need to be able to display the following competencies and attributes:-
- limited sense of humour
- conflict resolution, or the ability to shout the loudest, gained possibly in a kindergarten environment
- diplomacy (preferably obtained thru military service)
- a keen sense of justice – anyone from the legal profession is likely to be over qualified
- problem solving skills – applicants will be asked to give examples of this from previous posts, e.g. FMC
- good teamwork/able to work on their own
Applicants will need to be able to start asap as the site has recently been swamped with inappropriate comments, mostly from Welsh members. Remuneration is likely to be performance linked due to a high turnover of merchandise sold mostly to customers with more money than sense. Applicants should also be prepared to work remotely and do unsocial hours as many of the forum contributors have far too much time on their hands. Training and guidance will be provided by an experienced line manager based just outside England.
