    Another newbie here – Dave.

    Looking to jump ship from the fiesta ST150 I’d had for years to a focus RS.

    I’d followed the RS reveal many years ago now and considered buying one back then buy unfortunately funds didn’t allow, now they do in 2022 so I’m in the market for a nice model to purchase.

    Whats everyones opinions on the edition models. Are they worth the extra premium to purchase and are they likely going to hold there value better in years to come? I love the NB colour so would have to be a blue one.

    Personally I’m not sure a blue NB is worth the premium, sure if you hardly use it and keep it low miles a NB Edition always going to hold/increase value.

    if you want one to drive and use then most of the edition “extras” can be added for a fraction of the cost of a Edition (seats excluded but the blue edging does look naff once the seat bolster worn) so would not discount a “normal nb” however if it’s an edition your after then FJRS do have a Red for sale at moment I believe, red would be the edition version I would go for personally if I was in the market

    Some* Edition models required no recall(s) for head gasket(s).

    * Perhaps, all?

    If keeping relatively stock, that’s a selling point.

    I jumped from a 1.2L Renault Clio Dynamique to a Focus RS, not much difference performance wise, but the RS is much better looking 🙂

    Besides, with the name Dave, you shouldn’t be driving anything other than an RS

    P.S. I searched/waited for ages before I got mine, make sure you get the right one and she’ll be your friend for life
