Saw it this afternoon. Good film. Good mix of track and off track action to keep everyone happy. How many of us are old enough to actually remember it!!!!

How much does it deviate from the true story?

What it does show is accurate. Some parts have obviously been created for added drama, but none that detract from the real story. This is not a documentary, but a good film to entertain all the family. It does not go into great detail about the infighting at Ford etc. and doesn’t mention much about the British input from Alan Mann etc. It’s just a good tale and a good film. Enjoy! Below is a link to an article that some may find of interest.

Yep of to see this,  thanks for the reminder.

Interestingly I noticed that in the USA the film is purely marketed as Ford V Ferrari as Le Mans is not that well known.

No spoiler – that news is 53 years old!

Hate to say this but I was 22 at the time and a year or so out of my apprenticeship with Ford at Dagenham.
