Take the time to read the description as and then make your decision before betraying the product. Must be 52 MUGS on here I guess??

You need to factor in design, development, parts, manufacturing and packaging costs.  And also some profit…this is not for charity.

If it was easy we’d all have just done it ourselves.

This is a properly engineered solution to a bug that many of us have with the seats.

You don’t have to buy it…just make you’re own and see how you get on.

    Hey all,

Thank you for the orders so far, please be sure to include your forum display name along with the code JCRFRS on your order to qualify for the group buy pricing – I want to be sure that no one misses out.

    @Mud Slinger

As with any new product release its quite easy to pass comment from the sidelines regarding price, generally speaking no one will ever comment complain of how cheap something costs 😉

We have gone about this solution in the proper way, the only way JCR will take on any new product regardless of eventual retain price. This is not a cut and shut solution, this is a properly engineered plug and play fix for an issue that many Mk3 FRS owners have expressed issues.

I would urge you to dig a little deeper into the processes and costs involved before passing such damning comments over the retail price – Concept/Scan/Design/CAD/FEA/Prototype/Test/Release – It all costs, but its necessary to ensure the best results.

Obviously this product isn’t for you at this time, I read that you have found no issue with the seating position with the optional Recaro’s installed and that sentiment will also be shared with a number of other owners, this solution isn’t for everyone and we’re OK with that but do take the opportunity to jump in a car installed with the JCR SuperLow Frames if you can, I have a feeling it could well open your mind a little.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask.

    Regards

    Jonny

Maybe we are mugs wanting a car that can do a lot more than we are safely or legally able to do on most roads…. here, abroad or even in Scotland

maybe chucking money at more power fancier wheels carbon parts etc also makes us  mugs….as might paying big money out to sit 55mm lower

However being told we are by a faceless keyboard warrior who doesn’t know shit about any of us i for one don’t take kindly to….My mrs bought the rights to that privilege

Apart from the development costs, time to market is critical and always carry a premium.

Then again, with the Recaro rails at ~£80/side, i think the pricing is well thought taking into consideration that it will not have the economies of scale of an OEM part.

If you don’t like it wait for the ‘market followers’ or an alternative solution by Recaro (you will be looking for ~£500 per side without adjustability).

I aint no keyboard warrior , im just speaking my mind , maybe not the best way to  put it across on a forum i’ll give you that , i’m just flaber gasted that most of us have all payed the premium for the shell seats yet so many are willing to fork out even more to change the seating pos. Seems crazy, maybe its just me but i tend to be a bit tighter with my cash .

Its not just the seat rails  i just think that cause the car has an RS badge all these upgrades seem to have an added tax that for some reason people are quick to feed into it . just need to look at the costs of the Norris design upgrades , all these tuning companys  jumping on the band wagon for the gulable Rs owners with way to much money to spend …..

but hey ho , no offence meant .

I get you mudslinger, I wont know if I need them until i get the car on the 1st March, i was kind of hoping they would be around the £500 a pair mark, bloody vat doesnt help! yes, i agree i think there are a lot of companies that see RS owners as cash cows to milk, but also i think there is a hell of a lot more value to these seat things than spending a £1000 on a rear exhaust when the car is brand new and the std one is perfectly fine for the time being! and also these celebrity car paintwork correction protection engineers with their flash terms that charge upwards of £450 to slosh a bit of iron-off, shampoo, rub and sand your body a bit and then lovingly massage some hi tec polymer on making us all feel like if we dont protect our cars they will somehow disappear before our eyes thanks to some unseen car destroyer! Happy days !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?
