    Has anyone got this fitted?

Does it sound like it does in video clips or better?

Is it the resonated or non resonated you are looking for?

I have got the resonated cat back version and after a few miles is now sounding a  bit deeper/ mellow in sound, i think better than the sound clips, but didn’t want my son tearing up and down the road getting to used to the RS !

Well worth it, and plenty loud enough when you stamp on the go pedal .

    Its back !

I have both versions and i love both.

Started with the resonated and its a deep sound and the bangs are louder and deeper. no second noises of metal like original bangs and pops.

Then just for fun changed the middle pipe for non.resonated. it is REALLY loud then, amazing turbo spool sound and really loud bangs and pops!

But I went back to the resonated just because our laws here in Switzerland. Otherwise they will take my car and remove everything…

I’m living and registered in Luxembourg, so apparently the resonated system is the only one I can get with TUV certification! Does anyone know if the sound really is THAT much louder/better than stock with the resonated Milltek system?

    Thanks!

Non Res, sounds great, gunshot like cracks, bit noisy on cold start but I don’t talk to the neighbours so no loss there.

Just a question from my part,.. does the non res not have a drone on the motorway or getting too noisy when cruising along? I’m considering the non res vs the resonated,.. ?

Mine had a non-res on it when I bought it. Pops and bangs were a good laugh, but I didn’t like the tinny sound. Then one day when the missus was driving I sat in the back, and it just makes a horrible sound. I also (pre Covid-19) used to leave the house at stupid o’clock ever morning so bought the resonated centre section to calm it down.

In sport mode is still pops and cracks, but nowhere near as much.  The tone is deeper and better to my ears, but it’s hard to make a 4 pot sound nice.

Strangely, I found the Milltek non res louder than my old Mk2 ST which had a Mountune downpipe, sports cat and catback on it.
