I like the A45 AMG, auto gearbox is only downer for me, otherwise I would be seriously considering one.

And drift mode! Sounds like a system very similar to the RS

And here’s the engine (A45) being built. Lots of comments on youtube about the cameraman and technician being gay which made me chuckle! I hope the interior/dashboard of the A45 doesn’t rattle like the A35. Build quality of modern cars ain’t what it used to be.

One man or woman builds it from start to finish, that’s why there more expensive. Quite impressive.

If they offered this car with 3 pedals then I would be up for parting with the wonga. Unlikely, unfortunately as Mercedes don’t do good manuals.

Saw it at Goodwood FOS today, it looks awesome in the metal. Will no doubt be a mega car… it’s just the price it will come in at!

I’d be seriously looking at one for my next car, big problem for me though, no manual.

I’d miss the stick shift as they say.

I think manual hot hatches will start to get fazed out over the next few years, in order for Ford’s Performance division to really be up there with the big boys they’re going to have to look at an auto option.

    Closed deck…

Watching him lift that crank in using skyhooks is making me get worried as to how I’m ever going to manage lifting a few spare cranks I have out of the fireplace!! gonna have to call AMG in I guess!

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?
