Just bought another RS after too long without one. Previously owned a Mk2 Escort RS 2000 and a Series 1 Escort RS Turbo, both in the 80s, but how much are they worth now, however this one is amazing. Treating it like a little baby at the moment, I will nurse it through the winter and give it a go when the dry days return, the roads in the Yorkshire Dales are perfect and I love walking, so it’s a win win.
The new car is white with lux pack, forged alloys and shell seats, it has a Mountune induction kit, but not intercooler. Bit of a difference from the Webber 32/36 DGAV on the old RS 2000.
Looking forward to all the discussions and knowledge that you guys and gals share, be patient with me I am a bit rusty. Do we still have points and a condenser. ?
