new owner with a noob question

hi folks, new member and owner with probably a really stupid question, on the rear bumper of my car between the exhausts is a white circular ??reflector??, can anyone tell me what this is as i have been asked a couple times and i don’t have a clue.

Just a reflector basically.

It is a legal requirement and therefore part of an MOT test on cars after 2012:

• This inspection applies to the two obligatory rear reflectors that are required by Regulation to be fitted.
• Rear reflectors are not required to be fitted to vehicles used only during the hours of daylight, which are fitted with neither front nor rear position lamps, etc. See 1.1.A.
• Approval marks are not included in the inspection.
• Reflective tape is not acceptable as a substitute for a rear reflector.
• Tricycle and quadricycle requirements are detailed at Section 9.1.

alright thanks, I wasn’t too sure as I thought rear reflectors would be red in colour and not white, I have seen this configuration on some RS’s but not others

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

yep fog light also here in Switzerland. similiar to the mazda RX8 position or Formula-1 😀
