    MyRS
    Hi all,

    Just picked this up and am chuffed to bits with it!

    My previous car was a Lotus Elise S2 and I was looking to replace it with a 4-seater, usable daily but it had to be fun and interesting as well.

    Love colour (although Grey/Black wheels would have also fitted the bill) and the car has the same presence on the road as the Lotus (no evil or jealous eyes yet, only respect!).

    While it has an FPM375 kit, my warranty does say Ford parts only to go on the car, so mods for the time being (booooo!).

    1st job: I am having a Ghost alarm fitted tomorrow

    2nd: I will give it a thorough detail asap, possibly using ceramic wax/coating.

    I look forward reading all the other threads and enjoying what is already shaping up to be a brilliant car.

    Cheers,

    Mister Soonil A.

    A quick update: no chance to clean the car yet…!

    But purchased Autoglym Lifeshine from a seller on eBay – seller looks to be based at a VW dealer (Andre-7624) – decent value as well. Hopefully will apply it this weekend…

    Also, now have alarm installed by Nick Gover of Auto Communications (Essex based and does London area, etc). Good knowledge and fast. He does have links to the company recommended by this website. He can be found on https://www.autocommunications.co.uk/#

    Cheers

    Hi and welcome, I don’t care what everyone else says Nitrous is the colour to have.

    Welcome to the Club! A great colour choice…………….

    @coastliner

    Completely agree Steve that Nitrous Blue is THE colour for the MK3 just as Ultimate Green was for the Mk2. The more bashful members naturally elect for the more discreet colour options! LOL!
