Next Kent Meet, February 16th 2020

The next Focus RS  Kent meet will take place on  Sunday 16th February 2020.

The venue is :-  

Mickeys Rock Cafe, A249 Detling Hill, Maidstone, Kent.  ME14 3HT  

Meeting at around 8.30am – 9am.

So for our February meet, we’re again at Mickey’s Rock Cafe / Diner near Maidstone,  meets at this venue have been a great success and well supported by  members, so please come along on 16th February for the Focus RS Kent Breakfast meet.

All are welcome, especially those new members who have not been to a meet before, so come along and have a chat, coffee, breakfast with fellow owners !  Hopefully the weather will be O.K. but if bad (snow) weather is forecast this meet maybe cancelled !!!!

The premises are used to hosting meeting of various car clubs and so we’re welcome there.

The A249 is a dual carriageway road and the Diner is situated on the NORTH bound carriageway next to a SHELL Service Stn , it is also opposite a SHELL Service Stn ( SOUTH bound ), and just passed the Kent Events Centre ( formally the Kent County show ground)

It is probably best to come from the M20 if you are not familiar with the venue / location.  The A249 is at Junc. 7 on the M20, and Junc. 5 on the M2.

Guys, due to this weekend’s storm that is forecast, and possible travel disruption as a result. I’m going to cancel this meet and re-arrange. It would be good to get out if the weather was fine but this is clearly not the case ………

I’ll re post on here either for a re-arranged meet or for March’s get together.

Good call Clive…………..had to go out last Sunday and was very dangerous driving conditions.

4 wheel drive grip absolutely useless in 80 mph gusts of wind. Thought my veering steering had come back……..lol
