Looking back with rose-tinted-glasses, the Escort Turbo was the best car i ever owned.

always fancies a twink but now i think the only car i would want out the lot is the 1800.

Beautiful. For me it would be the Cossie and RS1600i.

My brother had the RS1600i and I’ll be jealous forever.

thats my mate Gary.. an Estate agent !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Nice. The white modified Mk1 Escort brings back memories of my 71 J reg white/red stripe Mexico, now very rare AVO round headlamp vehicles. Unfortunately stolen after just 3 weeks ownership and never recovered.😭

I was lucky enough to own a series 2 rs turbo. Was a fantastic car. Ended up getting rid due to the large amounts of money I was spending on it each month.

, speaking of estate agents I ended up buying my estate agents house, not quite sure how he talked me into it? Probably the usual estate agent waffle! Didn’t realise until recently he actually has a mk3 Focus Rs in NB. Obviously doing well with his commission he made from me!

What a collection and all look in lovely condition. If only you had the space to store them all. Perhaps we need to get a large barn between us? πŸ˜†

Walk down memory lane when I was a young lad. And then that gorgeous young girl crossed my path with the red Escort XR3i with whom I enjoyed my first road trip through Italy. She would drive and I would become sick as a passenger reading a folded paper map for navigation…

She is now my wife and she’s glad I have my RS instead of a new girlfriend 😎

Would prefer it in red but white will do.

    Loverly collection.

Wow nice! Regardless of the worth I’d go for the mk2 escort
