    just had my rs from a dealer on the south coast hills of lymington full spec rs with only 2k on the clock 66plate car nitrous blue. andrew hill gave me the best price for my part ex by nearly a thousand pounds and dropped the car off free of charge to swansea brilliant service and not one quibble about anything unlike a lot of dealers ive spoken to over the last few months. i saw my first rs escort in a similar blue colour in 1976 its been a long wait great car

    No nothing.

    No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

    Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    pics on way i’m old, i’ll get one of my kids to put them up, yes pleased its arrived 40 years was a long wait i’ve got a ducati and had a lot of stuff like that over the years my wife said’ you ever gonna grow up’  i hope not i’m enjoying myself too much.

    @ adh1964  yes, a 1971 RS1600.  Im a 1963 vintage myself ! had the MK1 34 years and the Focus 6 months !

    that mk 1 was i bet a good investment 34 years thats only going up, my friend had a cracking mexico and then a midnight blue mk2 rs escort 2000, a crystal ball would have been good to have.
