RS4 to RS

Hi all.

Yeeesssssssss!!!!!

Having been a RS4 Avant owner for the past three years I have finally jumped ship and joined the RS community. I pick up my new Magnetic Grey RS on Wednesday 29th. Exited is not the word. Looking forward to see how different the RS will be to Audi so watch this space. Will miss the V8, but the pops and bangs will make up for it I’m sure. Dreamscience Strategem is already ordered. Thanks for the welcome.

I’m thinking of going form Ford RS back to Audi and slipping into some comfortable shoes ?

I bought my RS after selling a V8 S5. Granted not the same car, but the Audi felt numb in comparison.

Thanks for all your comments. Yeah love the V8 but looking forward to a turbo’d car again. The Audi only comes alive at about 5.5k… so you need to drive the balls off it…

Well tomorrow is the big day.. train from Somerset to Kent at 06:20… looking forward to the drive back.

Will post again once picked the car up…

Well here she is… Had a fab day picking her up. Gutted it was raining, but hey ho!!!!  Thanks to Orpington Bristol Street Ford, such a seamless experience. Loved the 150 mile drive home… can’t wait to finish running her in. First impressions are very good indeed and tomorrow I have the day off work to clean and tinker…

Looking forward to getting amongst the RS community and sharing tips and advice.

Magnetic RS, just Sunroof & door protectors away from top spec. Factory standard for now but looking to upgrade to Mountune FPM375 & other mods once the recall has been done
