Hi all,
Installed the Scorpion cat back recently and once installed was knocking really bad in relation to wheel speed so got it straight back up and found the clamp that goes over the rear driveshaft was knocking where the bolt sticks down (bolt of the clamp was hitting drive shaft). undone it and moved it round a bit which mitigated the issue mostly but still rattles when idling and knocks quite bad if driving on bumpier roads.
Has anyone else experienced this and know a fix that doesnt involve permanently welding that slip joint? was wondering if cutting the bolt would help but not sure if its now the whole pipe thats rattling or not. Car is not lowered in any way
also side note does anyone know the part number for the “V band” clamp that attaches the cat back system to the downpipe. found a couple of part numbers but got no idea if they are right and its definitely blowing from there.
