Hi Everyone, I’m a new RS owner and am keen to gain some info on servicing. Current mileage 20k on late 2016 model and due service according to previous stamps. What type of service is needed at this mileage, should the rear diff be serviced etc. Thanks in advance, oh and any specialist garage  recommendations around Edinburgh area.

The Mileage is in 2nd service territory and basically its oil filter air filter, pollen filter, brake fluid change and a check round, but nothing else. And welcome to the forum.

the intervals are 12 months/12500miles whatever comes sooner, so really your car should have had first service on its first anniversary of being registered so, in late 2017, then its second service in late 2018, its 3rd service should be later this year on its 3rd birthday.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Hi Mel, welcome to the club. Harrisons in Peebles is recommended. Sounds like your due the 3rd service (~£349 is Ford RRP but can vary wildly) and 1st MOT.

    Hi Marc

    Thanks for the welcome

Traded my comp orange mustang for a  for  blue rs mate. Great car .

Just trying to get it all serviced get the head gasket check done and then get a couple of wee niggles tidied up with the body work.

previous owner has dented the rear diffuser.. horrible !!! having a nightmare trying to get someone to repair. Any recommendations?

Think it’s going to be a body shop repair and a wrap with carbon fiber to finish
