Hi everyone! I am just about to buy a 2016 (16) Focus RS in stealth grey. (Moving from a RS Clio Trophy). Loads of extras including the black wheels and lux pack. It has 15k miles on it and has been serviced every 6 months at a main dealer!! I think the service intervals are on 12500 miles or yearly….so it’s just had 3rd service. When is the cambelt service due? Maybe fifth year? Also the car is listed as having sync 2 system. However, will it actually be sync 3. It has the sat nav and stereo upgrades.

    Cheers!

Welcome Simon, the RS is fitted with a cam chain so no service required.

Welcome, early 2016 cars had Sync 2. Sync 3 came out late 2016.

Sync 2 will still have Sat Nav. Maps are held on a SD card under the centre console armrest.

Post some pics when you get your new car and enjoy!

I think your service history is correct as service is 12500 miles or one year. So you should be in or around 3rd service, its immaterial that the distance between services has been 5-6K.
