the climate will never be fixed its an incompatibility between firmware’s of the sync 3 and the heater control

its not about what needs activating in ucds its putting focus mk4 or MY18.5 sync firmware files into the earlier sync and then using tools to repartition the internal memory and certain files are now blacklisted so only early versions of 3.4 work with the tool

Did the F8 map update on mine last Sunday on a run out to the East Coast, The 3.4 upgrade is beyond me I was so proud I did the Map update without a hitch.

F9 maps are now available for Sync 3.4 and 3.3

 

I’ve update my 3.4 Sync 3 to F9 and newest build of 20021 … no issues all went as expected!!

Doesnt work Coastliner – says I am up to date.  Then again I am running 3.4 which isnt supposed to be for our cars so it wont give me a 3.4 update based upon my VIN number…

Sorry cannot help further, that’s my access to map updates, I get the Ford Garage to do Sync updates.

F9 files are: 1U5T-14G421-BAF  to 1U5T-14G421-BJF

Also update the Licence file – 1U5T-14G424-BH

Make up a autoinstall file and plug into USB port in car … takes around 45 minutes!!
