    hi wondering if it’s beneficial to fit an after marks performance air filter and if so which one is the best …

    On the stock tune I would say no. To benefit you will need an after market tune. But if you want extra sound, then it would be beneficial

    Only one choice in my opinion.

    Mountune.

    Simply because it is warranty safe.

    Plus – it does work. Standard filter strangles the top end. Mountune kit flows more freely.

    Note that it is only the full induction kit that is warranty safe. Fitting the filter on its own – bizzarely – voids your warranty. Which is retarded but true.

    the mountune is made by k and n and supplied to mountune from k and n. so don’t understand where this pish about warranty comes about mountune is a brand name.

    I have the mountune one. But I feel the design is not as good as it could be. Reason being, the tube that attaches to the pipe, has a high ‘wall’ on the inside, so this could create a lot of turbulence and reduce performance.

    I’m not having a dig at this product but it’s my opinion. If its true or not I don’t know.

    First part of the Mountune with K&N is warranty safe, I too agree fit either the Mountune or Mishimoto both give excellent gains.
