WARNING on Mountune Warranted Parts

If you’ve purchase a warranty friendly Mountune part second hand it isn’t Warranted any longer.

Even if you’ve owned the part from new and fitted it to a second RS, again no warranty cover.

Hmmm interesting so you need to keep copies of purchases otherwise how can they prove its second hand?

I have a mountune exhaust on my red edition and the dealer thought I was buying from a third party and wouldn’t honour the warranty (even new). It was direct from mountune but it was the dealers misunderstanding.

 

They seem to want any reason to cop out of the warranty. My red has had a new engine. Never actually got a full answer what the issue was but there was talk of a bearing issue or a piston and it fecked the engine.

Car also has a mp375. Another car was at the dealer with the same pack and similar issue.

Makes you wonder!
