    so for us clients who own m380, they are going to make us buy another handset? Why wont they make a calibration file to update our handsets?

    I can’t see a handset on the M400 kit photo so hopefully it will be a flash update on existing M380 handset.

    You just purchase the £200 in field update. Change the drop down option om the M400 handset product page.

    Will be keeping an eye on this thread…been reading lots of posts on other forums about this upgrade; will the block handle it, will the rear diff handle it as it is apparently on it’s power handling limit already.

    Also, was it cheaper than the web price if you already have any of the mods required for m400?



    NB 375, Goodrich hoses, RDU cooler (fitted for the hell of it), gas bonnet struts, Mountune RR, hard pipe kit, V1 cat-back….and RS seat covers!

    If Revo have brought out Stage 2 with 440 you would think the M400 would be pretty safe.

    Mountune have worked with Ford for many years including research; development and engineering. I doubt they would have released a package that hasn’t been thoroughly tried and tested especially as they will have many ford owners continue to purchase and run their kits and accessories.

    Upgraded from M380 to M400 yesterday. Car is just re learning again. Didnt feel any different initially, but the car seems to pickup and surge alot quicker now. Done around 50 miles since upload

    Are the exhaust centre pieces in stock. Did you have the v3 cat back fitted or axle back already

    Theirs a big down side to the Mountune 400 hand held.

    If you have the FPM375 (especially if you’ve paid Ford around £1k) or any flashed ECU software.

    It simply over writes it and it’s gone, you can’t save it to the hand held and you cannot revert back to the FPM375. It’s 400 or nothing,

    Actually, if you over write the 375 you can get it back by using the unique software code that should be provided by the installer. It’s only for use with one car, but can be flashed back on to the ECU by any Mountune dealer.
