    Hi All.

I know most of us in here are Mk3 RS owner or are here because we are interested in the Mk3 RS so what I’m putting in here might be anything new to yourselves, but I always put together a progress/ history thread so that if I do something differently to others I have some information to bring to the party with a thread to back it up, it also allows me to show the documented history of the car if someone was interested in the future.

    Anyway here is my RS.

Feel free to take a peak on my social media and YouTube channel as the most recent updates go straight on there (give a like if you enjoy what you see)

I have a few documented videos on the engine failure I suffered before Christmas if people want to compare a situation as well.

    Thanks for reading.

@Hammy because I had only just stated it up and then had the car go into the garage for 3 months hence why there is only engine failure videos lol.

And I put it in here because I stated that my engine failed and the videos were there for comparison, for people that are having signs as I caught mine very early on before any damage occurred internally.

More will go up now I have got the car back don’t worry!

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

A little update on my RS and its goings on in the last few weeks.

I found the issue in the attached video, it seems quite common in the Mk3 RS, mine is going back into Ford to have a full rack replacement and four wheel alignment to hopefully sort it out.

In the mean time I have a turbo smart dual port to fit once it comes back, along with an exhaust baffle bypass pipe to have welded in to the valve’ d side of the exhaust at the end of June. hopefully that will bring a bit of extra noise to equation which will be good.

If the dual port doesn’t work out too well and throws up some faults then I will just get an uprated recirc valve instead as its really being installed to support a map (probably going to get the dreamscience Imap once these bit are fitted) than produce extra noise, I just got the dual port for a bargain price so couldn’t turn it down.

Make sure to fit the turbosmart bra with bov. I fitted my 50/50 and at cruising speeds I got an annoying boost leak noise. Once the bra was fitted that annoying noise has disappeared
