I’m a middle-aged man, I don’t feel the need to launch my car like I’m Tommy Makinen. I hope this meets everyone’s approval.

I’m passed middle age most likely and I’ve launched 6 times since new. If it’s there I’ll use it. Although….. Haven’t used drift mode mainly because I am not actually as good a driver as the car can make you feel and don’t fancy smashing my wheels on a curb.

You haven’t used drift mode — did you hear that Spammy? He ain’t gonna be happy about that, although he doesn’t seem to be happy about anything. I heard his wife left him, terrible buisness.

Wtf your car do what you want with it I could not really give a dam. Just stated  that the car has a feature why not use it. Instead of being a pussy and writing absolute shit on here.

er… just because a car has a switch or mode, it does not mean you HAVE to use it !! How many 4×4 range rovers that spend 99.9% of their time in city centres ever use diff locks or hill descent or height adjustment etc? I’m sure their owners do not get called ‘pussies’ for not using all of their vehicles functions. And just because ‘launch control’ has the word ‘control’ in it , it does not mean that it is not one of the harshest things you can do to a four wheel drive car with grippy tyres on dry grippy tarmac.. its definitely stressing a hell of a lot of components bigtime. ( probably find its the PCP/ lease drivers that give the car back in 2/3 years time  that abuse their cars the most and not the folk that have stumped up £33000+ of their own cash)

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Totally agree with you 71bda and very well put. Just because someone sticks their head in a gas oven we all don’t have to follow.

@red-leader – Sounds like your wrapping your head in Cotton wool. I stick my head in all kinds of dangerous things – I live life on the edge – I don’t care if I live or die.

I’m a new member to this whole RS forum crap…I’m middle aged, retired war vet, love adrenaline, and LOVE my car. I was hoping to get advise and guidance wrt “Ford promise a solution for engine issues” but from what I am reading, there are a lot of sh*tsticks who can’t be adults and keep the BS off this site. Can anyone tell me a site where this kind of thing is not a problem and true adults can discuss real problems and issues, without the interuptions of mental f**ktards???? If that offends you, you must be a F**ktard!!

    Cheers

Jesus, soldier! We’re just not as free as you are, Sir — I promise not to be a fucktard/have any differing opinion to yours/have any fun or banter. God bless America/shove it up your fat, opinionated arse.
