    Busseys norwich got back to me and said “I have spoken to our tech and we can look at your request, but we don’t know if we can do it until we try”, ok I said will there be a cost ” yes 1hr labour” , ok how much is that in pounds I asked ” that would be £120″.

    So to summarise a ford pro main dealer;

    1. Didn’t know if they can disable PDC.

    2.want to charge me £120 for the pleasure of them telling me sorry couldn’t do it.

    What a joke.

    @1234enough I’ve give up asking main dealers, last one said they cant do it as the have to log on fords something now due to security…? and because its a safety feature no they would not turn off… ?

    @GM , if what you say is correct that makes main dealers even more of a thieving scum, willing to charge for a service they clearly are blocked from doing by their parent company. I’ll ask a few more main thieves then give up.  Maybe at a meet up someone will be there who can perform white witchcraft for 10mins that main dealers can not do.

    @1234enough

    My car was in Busseys last week. I called them up saying my car has the whistle and can they fit a SCC, had no idea what I was talking about but to be fair they then went to the technician and come back saying yes but I need to order the part……fitted it no problem.

    I have only had the car a month and first time over taking on a B road was an experience and got me looking into PDC.

    I am going to change tyres next month and go back down the same road and see how it feels and if no better will book back into busseys and ask them to switch it off.

    out of interest have you asked ARP in kings lynn?

    @helieandgateth was easy to get done early on… now a nightmare…. first dealer wouldn’t even turn off my keyless, as they said it would void my warranty! Must of serviced my car with their eyes closed, that went out the window early doors 🤣

    I still have 5 months of warranty left so won’t do anything to invalidate that but hoping the change of tyre makes a difference.

    to be honest I’m learning to drive round it or though it but don’t trust the car enough for my Mrs to enjoy it properly so will be looking to get PDC off. I am thinking post warranty to visit one of the tuners for a remap and some say they can also turn the PDC off.

    The veering aside which is only on certain road types (just a shame I have lots of these types of roads near me) We are loving our RS, over 1500 miles in past month 🙂

    helieandgareth, I’ve got 2yrs to run of warranty,  don’t think I can go that long without at least trying it with PDC turned off and I ain’t heard of any warranty claims being refused cos it’s turned off, unless any one knows of any?
