Brilliant…. Who remembers Formula Shell petrol and all those Vauxhall Cavaliers blowing their engines up on it in the 80’s..?

Back then and before, there was 4 star petrol and if my dad was right, they even did 5 star petrol as well…  50p per gallon !!

We all dreamed about a Capri 3 Litre Automatic – just couldnt afford one…

I don’t remember 5 Star petrol just the 2 star £0.33 a gallon & 4 star £0.48 per gallon pump fuel and the super cheap at the time diesel £0.23 a gallon as only trucks and vans used that stuff back then and the odd Peugeot too.
