@rainydays I think the RS did a lap in 8.05 if I remember correctly.

Of course you should consider conditions and driver etc, but that sub 8 sec time is certainly quick.

I am not expecting it to sound like a performance hatch, but with all the hype I am expecting the drive and ride to be special.

oh god no, not bloody pratt features shmee getting in on the act too !! if his voice gets much higher hes going to need scrotal sack surgery !!

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Had a test drive at 10am this morning in the fog and frost. Very impressive car but more understeer than my focus rs in same conditions.

jb, did you try it in another mode where the power balance is more to rear wheels? I think std its set at like 60 % front and 40% rear? I think you have options of 50/50 and  30/70 ?

Yes, tried all 3 modes, it was close to freezing and the road was v greasy. Lacks the rear end rotation of the RS, felt similar to my 2012 spec c subaru in the same conditions….

Be interested to hear some more feedback from RS owners who test drive it. Probably close to £35k time you spec it up.
