Had my 1st Dyno session at Devil Developments and achieved 540bhp on Shell V-Power with Piper BP285 cams and minor head work porting and smoothing flow. I’m Also Mapping for Meth next week ?

The mountune V3’s are the Piper BP285 cams.

I haven’t anything I just had a txt threw from Lee as the cars nearly 250 miles away as I’m in the Greater Manchester area and takes a bit to long to get their and back lol. Where are you in the country town / city is enough info.

The Turbo is a 650bhp rated Precision Turbo.

I’m using an additional 4 injectors which supply additional fuel which is just a different route to that super extreme fuel pump you are using.

Went NX2 as my goal has always been 501 hp or more so that’s what underlined my Turbo choice.

Why did I choose the NX2?

Precision Turbo design was all new and designed specifically for the Ecoboost 2.3 and rated for 650 hp which gave me the margin of safety I wanted.

As you say their are bigger and more powerful turbo options out their, but this car will drive like stock until you hit the loud pedal…………………… then stock disappears.

Today is a good day a very good day.

Thank you Mr 9Designs for the good omen of 601bhp smashed it………………………..lol by 9 bhp

The car has been on a 4wd dyno all day with Lee from Devil Developments doing his magic on SRD Tunings Dyno and has come back with a finalised map

Running 587bhp on Shell V-Power. His previous map gave 540bhp

Running 610bhp with Methanol added (M30). No previous.

How is your Factory OEM clutch coping with your power and torque as Mountune are now spewing a clutch upgrade.

Was this specced when you went M520 ??

Mountune would not fit an upgraded clutch to my car they flat out refused to do it said it’s not needed etc

 

I asked several times but was advised against fitting an upgraded clutch

 

 

my clutch failed at 20,000 miles Mountune fitted a brand new one

 

upon inspection there was nothing wrong with my old clutch according to Mountune

 

 

make of this what you will left me confused as hell.

 

but I am running a stock clutch even at 525lbft it was good
