I have to say lee has done a great job with the mapping its like driving a standard car in sports, until you look at the speedo, feel that shove into the chair and look at the fuel consumption (but lets not talk about that).

He going to have a look at the high boost map and the revs hanging sometime soon and theres a possibility i may even get my cruise control back,(ghost).

As @Peters says it really does drive like standard and you push the pedal and the urgency to gain speed is amazing.

Like I’ve said with Lees Mapping at Devil Developments it’s absolutely spot on and the boost also comes in so much earlier than all the other charts I’ve seen at least 1000rpm earlier

Had to purchase two 4bar map sensors for the car, in preparation for a mapping session as currently stuck at 29psi couldn’t go any higher with the factory OEM sensors.

These sensors 2 will allow upto 39psi

29psi gave the car over 500whp let’s see what and extra 4-7 psi will add to the mix…………… so looking forward.

Cars is being mapped by God & Jesus that of Lee (Devil Developments) & Romain (Racecal Ltd) (Syvecs ECU) can’t wait till May 👍

Car drives better than the OEM Factory car ever did, minimal lag, plenty of low end torque. Im still using a small turbo NX2.

The cars a dream to drive to the shops or down to the local track no compromise in their mapping abilities absolutely awesome

So we took a drive down to RaceCal Ltd for a Hub Dyno mapping session and a tweek or two. Also to see where the OEM factory clutch actually says I’m not doing this anymore.

So the clutch let go at around a torque figure of 520 and around 540 whp, but we did nearly manage two full ish runs.

The car on meth made 513tq and 563whp at 6150rpm, but due to clutch slip their wasn’t any point in revving out to the redline of 7250rpm limit

    I was previously running 1.9bar (27.5psi) at 510whp this session gave 563whp at 2bar (29psi).

Romain who is “Jesus” in Syvecs mapping; says the cars plenty left in it and should be safe and reliable at 2.3bar + and should pull some awesome figures from the NX2 and still be able to drive it like it was a factory car.

So the OEM clutch limits are now found they should be “+ or – “ where mine slipped as each will be different.

    And pulling 2bar (29psi) 563whp with an aim of 2.2-2.3bar  (31.9-33.4psi)

So the clutch – I’ve decided on is the Competition Clutch Stage3 kit which has a sprung friction plate to help the gearbox in jolt and shock protection.

I have the upgraded synchros ready but would rather wait and see how this item works with the gearbox.

Cheapest place to buy currently to get the upgraded synchros and bearings as a single kit seems to be Mountune USA

Ive just sent one back, weeks waiting and still no further info…. Give it a go approach no good, if your one of the affected ones and your cars in bits for months waiting for replacement parts.

Well that’s a gamble when it arrives maybe it’ll work maybe it won’t.

Well I’ll have my fingers crossed.

I purchased the Competition Clutch Stg3 from Matt Lewis Motorsport.

The issue from what you have attached seems black and white, it’s either going to work or not and not be an intermittent fault as their even worse to sort.

What made you choose the CC clutch?

My reasoning – the power handling, OEM ish driving feel and a sprung friction plate to reduce gearbox shock.

Yeah it is, but the solution would be to get in touch and wait for replacement bits if needed… takes them 3 weeks to get back to emails.

Ive gone purely on Nm figures & experience from people using them…. Single plate a little on or off, heavy… feedback from both CC & extreme.         Twin plate MPC like stock ish but with 1250 Nm.

Thats gone back and i now have the xtreme twin plate, but the wrong one / old stock has been sent out (2018)… so waiting on an updated replacement which has a sprung hub, changed in 2020…. Having both side by side, the extreme is 100 times better build quality and worth the extra money. The extreme range also comes with release bearing.

When I checked out the xtreme TP clutch it was purely a solid centre. I wasn’t aware it’s been / had a  revision now comes with a sprung centre meaning its more gentle on the gearbox.

As Ron Henry really rated the xtreme TP clutch just a tad noisy, but his was the solid centre

Do you have a part number or link to this new version please.

But the above graph for a sub 30psi car giving 563whp and over 300tq at 3000rpm makes for a quick and a very easy to drive car
