    I would say yes mate!! Could be done on axle stands although I have access to a ramp which definitely makes things easier!! As long as the subframe goes back up in the same place there shouldn’t really be any issues. Oh, and don’t forget to clart the bushes with grease, inside and out or the squeaking will drive you mental!! Lol!! ?.

    @gm

    Morning mate!! Sounds like you’re a very busy man!! Think you need a well earned break to indulge in some RS Modding!! Haha.. ??. Life’s too short mate!! ?.

    Cheers, Marc.

    Evening pal!! Hope you’re fine!! ??. I wouldn’t normally have got wheel alignment done, coz I spent time marking up the subframe etc and making sure it went back in the same place, as long as the steering wheel is still dead straight ahead on road test then it’ll be sound!! If you just throw that subframe back up and bang the bolts in it’s amazing how far off it can end up!! But due to the state of my front tyres prior to doing the job I’m gonna get wheel alignment done. Managed to get 2 x new front tyres this morning but no time for wheel alignment today, had to pick up ma youngest son for the weekend, 250 mile round trip. Car felt great with the new tyres, new Anti-Roll Bars and new EBC Front Discs!! I’ll tell yi mate, those Discs with Yellowstuff Pads are AWESOME!! I didn’t think I’d notice such a big difference!! Still got ma Braided Hoses to fit, but the brakes are great!! What I will say though is, you can hear them when driving with window down and Brake Pedal not pressed, it’s like a really fast ticking noise a bit like a stone stuck in your tyre. It’s not loud and doesn’t bother me and yi can’t hear anything with the tunes blasting or window up. I did read somewhere that this can occur but should go away after about 1,000 miles!! I’ll start a thread tomorrow on the brakes wee some pics etc!! They’re great value for money… ??. Got a bit side tracked there mate, I’m currently taking copious amounts of fine Whisky to try and numb the pain of a broken tooth!! ????.

    Anyhoo, ETS INTERCOOLER….. excellent choice my friend!! Why don’t you just fit while it’s gold and if you don’t like it you can always remove it and get it sprayed!! What I will say is, there’s a lad in Inverness I think with an NB RS with gold wheels and it looks F**KEN Lovely!! You could always get your Forged Alloys sprayed gold and that would look mint with the gold Intercooler!! Some homage to your Scooby days mate!! Haha!!

    As for your new Exhaust….. you’re gonna wonder why you never got one months ago??!! No performance gains but the smile factor and some of the stuff you find yourself doing to create various noises is off the scale mate!! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts pal!! ??.

    Cheers, Marc.

    Hi Marc ! Good to see you’re liking the yellows! Did they have a real abrasive top bedding in surface visible on them when brand new? The ones I put in the Escort did and they really bit hard while new. They’re still great and dont dust much at all.

    No nothing.

    No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

    Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    I used EBC YS  and rotors on several cars in the past. They are a great bang for the buck.

    Once my extended maintenance is over and I will be doing my own pad replacements, I will use YS again.

    I may be interested in going the yellow route, sick and tired with cleaning the wheels doing say twenty miles and there coated in dust from the pads.

    Evening mate!! Yeah the Pads come with a VERY rough top surface!! The first few presses of the brake pedal were savage. Never noticed much difference when I fitted the rears but now I’ve done the fronts it’s made a hell of difference!!

    I’ve not gave the wheels a proper clean since fitting the Brakes but dust does seem to be less, I’ll know better once I’ve cleaned my wheels properly. Got EBC Braided Hoses to fit next time home. ??.

    @nicklulu

    Indeed mate!! Excellent value for money…. Discs and Pads for the front £400. Think the rears were £200?

    Cheers, Marc.
