I think the kit I have got is good, genuinely I do.
i think the new version of the Mountune intercooler looks cheap and nasty the end tanks scream eBay / Chinese special.
i would like to have had spec-r hardware but I had already committed to Mountune and their warranty which if anybody wants any sort of comfort is very very very good .
its what you pay for it’s expensive and you expect the best and best service and to be fair to Mountune their warranty has kept me going…..

im considering changing my hardware as I’m fitting this water meth kit and although I have bought the silicone cutting tool etc I do still prefer a hard boss to connect into and with the spec-r pipes I can have that just for neatness and reliability of install.
I have the Mountune kit is it good enough yes

would I prefer hard boost pipes yes
spec-r has larger cooling area also
so as you can see there are a few wins over the Mountune kit
but I don’t know it’s just more money etc and then the all to well known when will the spec-r stuff be actually ready as everyone knows it’s very slow
