    Hi all just a quick rant , Has anyone tried to clean root strips Β they are a Matt finish and slightly coloured from elements, two phots follow sorry for poor quality took on phone .πŸ‘πŸ‘

    @Pauly Paul, thanks for your thoughts, I’m so glad the warmer weather is on its way I struggle with cold weather. I’ve just had a cataract operation which whilst uncomfortable has definitely improved my sight πŸ˜ΊπŸ‘

    No worries m8 , like you say warmer weather on the horizon let’s hope not hot , don’t think I can’t take another 90 degree summers even if our summer only lasts for a couple of weeks , take care my friend onwards & upwards .πŸ‘πŸ‘

    I tried the spray but it’s still patchy, are these easy to replace and anyone know the part number?

    @al-b, if my memory serves me correctly I believe that it is vinyl tape. I do not know the part number… sorry Bepending on your skill it can be replaced πŸ‘

    that link is for roof bars for luggage?Β  the strips usually just pull off and use clips to hold in place so should be easy enough to swap over, ive no idea what they cost though ,could be a good time to have the new ones painted,gloss black maybe? or body colour? that would stop any future problems

    I use tyre shine foam on all black plastics, brings um up like new, may need a few coats and a buff up/off

    Ah yes I just looked at first pic only, doh!

    i like the idea of doing them in NB, bring plaggy would need to be right paint and a pro job which I can get done at work

    if anyone does have the Ford part please shout

    first though I will try my tyre gel

    Best stuff ive ever used. Put it on the RS when new and they still look good although just 11k miles and always garaged.
