I’m having the GHOST security system fitted this Saturday, has anybody else had it fitted and what are your thoughts on it.

Hi John, I’ve had the Ghost system fitted, if think it’s a fabulous. A day or two to get use to it is all it needed. I like the fact that it’s discrete. And if you keep it to a very few people the better ?

If it doesn’t compromise security I’d like to see photo’s of the finished installation John if possible.  Having to use a third party keypad to start the car (or the alternative smart phone app which I’d prefer) I’d like to know where the keypad is installed and whether it looks as if it was factory fitted or sticks out like a sore thumb.

I am considering a purchase myself though.

No photograph are possible because the unit that controls the Ghost system is hidden. The “Pad” for the code is discussed between you and the fitter. It could be any combinations within the car. Sorry not much help but that’s the best part it’s up to you how it operates.

Yes you can use a phone app ….apple only at the moment but android is meant to be on its way

The Ghost ? uses factory buttons to disarm and for programming of valet so there are no extra parts, even the confirmation is via the eml so no additional led either

You fitted my security on the 21st November, I have certification by email for the tracker do I get any information from them about being able to track my vehicle on my laptop or iPhone. Its just I thought this was a feature?

Should have received the link for the app in with your email ?

If not just download it from the App Store for free

Just gone on the website no link on the email but registered my details with Global Telemetrics, now they say they will contact me within 72hrs, downloaded the App so awaiting them to contact me so that I can use the App. I assume they will give me a code or a password for my app. So up to now all good.
