Mountune 375 Kit fitted

Hi guys just a quick question are you all getting the FPM badge with the kit mine is booked in on the 14/11 but I have previously bought all the hardware so they are fitting that and then the map I just wondered what happens about the badge

The badge will be sent to the dealer where it’s fitted I was told yeasterday,waiting on ford performance to get them to mountune.

Looking to get the 375 kit fitted myself, but was just wondering how much more is it costing you gents for your insurance & are insurance companies reluctant to insure any of you because of the upgrade?

I’m only paying £220 a year anyway so cant imagine it being a lot more.

Louie, I dread to think what you are paying on that monsterous thing!

Hey Scott. I wouldn’t have thought it would increase ya premium that much? I am paying £37.83pm over 10 months so not too bad and with Quote Me Happy!! And ya more than welcome to have a blast out in the car Scott. I’m in Horsham mate so if ya about just shout 🙂

AVIVA added £40 for declaring the 375 upgrade and wrote it down as “engine tune” on the policy, that’s for a full year at renewal in a couple of weeks time.

for me it was the easiest option to get the parts fitted through the pro dealer especially the diff. yes i know its more expensive but a lot less hassle 🙂

I was planning to keep the car standard at first but now I’m leaning towards the 375 upgrade & full exhaust.

Does a replacement exhaust other than the mountune one void the warranty?

All replacement exhaust technically void the warranty.

Only the contents of the FPM375 kit (the cross over pipe, re-circ valve, connecting silicon hoses, airfilter and re-map) will preserve the warranty.

I asked the dealership that installed my kit about exhausts – the manager said they probably would honour an engine warranty issue if you got an aftermarket exhaust – but it’s at their discretion.

Still waiting for my badges 🙁
