Do you mean the firmware update that fixes the quiet speakers in the back?

Yep it’s a firmware update,  they did mine yesterday, now the rear door speakers work! .. which makes a general improvement to the systems sound…. a little… it’s still a poor system.

CheeRS Steve. So if I got to my local dealer (never got the car from them) what do i need to ask for? Is it just a case of

“Hello Mr Dealer I need to get my in car stereo system updated with the latest firmware in order to allow the rear speakers to function correctly” ???

I agree the sound on the Mk3 Audio is not as good as the Mk2 was, however the Bluetooth connection to play music from my phone works in the Mk3 where as I needed to have a lead connected to do this in the Mk2. So that part is much better. And the sound on the latest system is not too bad.

All fitted and reflashed audio system… All damn good !!! Better audio and lotsa bangs and pops from the exhausts 🙂
