I’m pretty sure that ETIS shows all of the options for the entire range of a particular vehicle. It doesn’t really mean that the options are actually selectable. There is bizarre stuff like “water wading equipment” listed too! Anyway it continues to change during the build process – so I wouldn’t worry too much about the information. Better to get a screenshot of your order from VISTA – you Dealer should be able to provide this…
My man at the private dealer i have sourced my FRS from has just spoken to his parts guy at Ford. He was told that my car (being delivered to him n/w) has 10 x sony speakers and a sub woofer in the boot. Does this elude to being a SYNC3 system????
OK got that Allan thanks. I guess I’ll have to wait and see. Will be lovely to have it, but if not i shan’t lose any sleep. Is the SYNC3 a firmware upgrade and if so can this be done retrospectivally to SYNC2 versions? I would have thought it can but be good to have confirmation
Not sure if Sync 2 can be updated to Sync 3. If it’s anything like the car manufacturer that I work for then the answer is no. There is a good link for Sync 3 information on page 2 of this conversation.
