    @DaveRS3

    There has been times many that I wished I had kept it, mainly with the times when I had the FSA done twice because of persistent oil leak. It had 8600 miles on the clock at 5.5 years old, so with the mileage I have done in the mk3 8100 as of today and the year I went after selling the Mk2 and awaiting the Mk3 to be built 13 months from order to collection. So my Mk2 would have been just under 20k miles, I suspect it would have been about the same value or slightly more than my current Mk3. But the Mk3 is a world ahead with regards to technology and I do think the MK2 looks dated. If I had my time all over again I would have kept the Mk2, that would have saved me about £8K.

    Thanks Coast,@coastliner

    I was never interested in the mk1 or mk2. I spat my dummy out when the mk1 came out, disgusted it was only FWD after the Escort and Sierra Cossy’s so I got a scooby, then the mitsi. When the mk2 came out my knees buckled and agreed best looking RS ever but no, I’m a stubborn bastard and fwd unacceptable so didnt get one. So I got the mk3, joined the RSOC again and the local group and started trying others mk2 ‘s out and I’m smitten. Especially the big power ones, love em and want one and definitely regret not buying one in the 1st place. Probably the only regret I can think of tbh.
