Some amazing cars in people’s histories there, it’s taken me ages to get through reading them all…..

@bobcat, I bloody hope you got heavy discounts from Ford…?

however I digress, my own history below….

1990 Mk2 VW Golf 1.3 in the most amazing metallic burgundy…

1993 Rover 214Si in Caribbean Blue

1994 Renault Clio 1.8 Rsi in Black metallic (wrote the Rover off and insurance was a killer for the Clio 16V…!)

1996 Renault Megane 2.0 16V Phase 1 (Williams engine)

1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo GTS Revision 2…. handled like a Ferrari….. in the dry.

1999 Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 – loved that car and so did the future wife surprisingly…?

1993 Citroen Ax Gt track car with Vts engine fitted….. lightweight fun….

2005 Skoda Octavia Vrs (the Impreza was killing me on fuel for a daily commute ?)

2005 BMW E46 M3….. lovely engine and drive

1999 Volvo V70r (fed up paying so much for BMW servicing and wanted something cheaper, comfier and reliable to run….. best car I’ve ever owned…)

1990 Volvo 240 with a T5 engine fitted ? (fun second car) should have kept that….

2015 Volvo V60 Polestar (great Q car except it was rebel blue…!)

2004 Vw Lupo 1.4 Tdi shit-kicker that I use for commuting to work( I can’t kill it, it’s mapped to around 105hp and it’s so much fun to drive…!)

2016 Ford Focus Rs…..

Enjoying this thread so far guys!

Here my rather short list as not for changing too frequently:

2006 to 2008 – passed my driving test at 17 years young. Straight into a 53 plate Vauxhall Corsa C SXi – 1.2 16v black with SRi wheels and lowered.

2008 to 2010 – 03 plate VW Golf GT TDi – again in black. I upgraded the interior to an anniversary golf with large bolster recaro seats, lowered on h&r springs and changed wheels to 18″ B5 RS4 reps.

2010 to 2014 – 06 plate Ford Focus ST3 3 door – electric orange and running just shy of 300hp. This thing could wreck a set of front tyres…. And a clutch or 2. Best colour ford have done imo

2014 to 2019 – 07 plate Audi RS4 Avant – Daytona grey and complimented by almost every extra available. Lowered on fully adjustable KW coilovers, full miltek exhaust system. Incredibly refined and an absolute brute when pushing on. V8 soundtrack… Say no more

2015 to current – 1980 ford escort MK2 RS2000 custom, diamond white, chocolate brown interior, totally standard and unmolested… Apart from the ongoing YB turbo install.

2017 to 2019- BMW X1 20d – xline. Family car bought after the little man arrived in our lives replaced my wife’s Audi A1 (which was a great little car) BM had a terrible gearbox and hands down the worst car I/we have ever owned.

2019 to current – 65 plate land rover discovery sport HSE black edition – white, all the mod cons, 9 speed auto box (only auto I’ve ever owned) fantastic family car.

2020 to current – 66 plate MK3 focus RS, nitrous blue, shell recaros, lux pack, forged wheels, everything bar the sun roof and heated steering wheel I think.

Been fun to reminisce of all the cars I’ve owned over the years and of course read everyone else’s motoring pasts.

@Matt.B, that’s a good question and is probably a difficult one to answer. Possibly my favourite would be the Red RS 2000 4×4 had it 6 years went to France in it a couple of times. It is still around today and appears in RS club meets. But equally my favourite would be the Focus RS Mk 1 an absolutely manic machine (it had been chipped) had that 6 years, it was like a gokart on speed ha ha ha. The best without doubt is the Focus RS Mk 3 a complete all rounder, may be not so good in winter but hay ho change the wheel/type set up or just be careful.
