@BrianC thats a graph wound back tho as stock injectors are maxed out…. Also have a low power mode set in Normal mode, so power changes with stock drive modes.
We had no idea really how the setup would perform as was the first to give Leighton the HPFP fuel pump type, 270 cams, mild ported head & turbo type. Did think that fuel might play a part, but was not sure and didn’t want to buy injectors for no reason if we could of got there as is. (This is why I’m puzzled when a tuner, cannot dial something in???)
But as soon as injectors are back, we are getting it sorted… but no rush as car drives awesome as it is, and nice to get a step up before the final step 😂
Is it purely dyno tune with devils? Sabre is all road and dyno for graph….
Devils is or was with me:
From getting the basics dialled in on the dyno and then fine tuned on the open road and then back on the dyno and repeat 👍

My experience with Devils & RaceCal and their mapping
They dialled in the basics on the dyno and then fine tuned that on the road, then back to the dyno and repeat.
Same as RaceCal also did this but they did say on a hub dyno it wasn’t really necessary due to how they work compared to a roller setup

This is my first map with a shite Mountune Recirc valve which just pisses boost away
Torque was stonking by 3000rpm over 400 torque could pull trees down that map 😂😂😂😂
Topped out at 513torque and 486bhp but drove so much better than factory.

@Brian C mines not sabre built, just sabre tuned…. Its the same as the 2 fastest mk3’s on draggy home built, well mines shed built….. Full blown Barney build 💪…. I couldn’t afford a build at Devils, well what I’ve done anyway 😂
@GM, yeah I seen you posting that you built yours. I tried the same but had to swallow my pride and take it to the experts.
I was interested to see the difference in tunes between Sabre and Devils as your build (correct me if I’m wrong) is pretty much what Devils advise for there 530 build. Cams, NX2, hpfp with standard injectors. But I believe your running meth/water injection.
@Brian C Yeah…..
WMI, 5 port need to alter slightly for more flow…. Sounds sad but so happy its gone straight on total new engine & head, so cleaning from the off 👌🏻
XDI evo HPFP Similar to the Mountune one but can run higher pressure, not sure what the devils one is?
But mines a 2.0L block build so a little different to the 2.3, Manley lightweight pistons and turbo tuff rods, stage 2 Cams,…. not 3, mild headwork Only the turbo really is the same….

Quafie diff & built box with carbon lined syncs, Helix twinplate clutch only available through OEMeth Installs (after being let down by competition clutch & extreme twice) Will up date my car page thingy with clutch details, its spot on and better than i thought a twinplate would be…
Found the delivery of the Competition Clutch Stage3 with the sprung friction plate delivery to be exceptional 2 days via Matt Lewis Motorsport and drives almost OEM stock like

Delivery was not the issue, CC recalled twin plates (with no communication or timeline), Xtreme sent the unsprung version first, and then a battered used broke one the second time…. 3 month delay…. Helix one is spot on…. No rattle like almost all twin plates & awesome to drive with.
I tried the CC stage 3, DS fitted it to my mates…. Not a fan, But not anything as bad as the ACT ☹️ Wanted a twin from the start tho, and had to be sprung.
A Twin plate should never let you down and handle our meagre power easily.
A little touch over kill as we ecoboost owners will probably never get near their 1400bhp + limit.
But you should be able to launch to your heart’s content and use the anti-lag ever opportunity with a twin.
Awesome clutches

What sort of price are these clutches supplied and fitted ?
I will be leaving my standard clutch in to start with when I get the conversion done , but at some point it will need to be changed I guess
I went with the stage 5 twin plate competition clutch which I bought from SCC Performance. I think it was £1175 but fitted it myself when the engine was out.
once fitted I only got to drive it about 100miles, felt a heaver than the standard clutch but you can’t have everything lol.
I purchased mine from Matt Lewis Motorsport in the midlands for £720 from order to delivery about 2 days. Partbox and Devils sell them too.
Kit includes New flywheel, New Flywheel Bolts, Sprung Friction Plate and Pressure plate.
The map above was 486 & 513tq the OEM clutch held up well (no launches) even a bit more about 500 & 515tq will be ok (+ or – that number) after this the clutch will probably start to slip.
When I swapped mine out the dual mass was on its last legs but the friction plate was in good Knick.
Whats your engine build /spec

Currently 10% off at Partbox £691 ish always worthwhile giving Devils and Matt Lewis a call.
